Last time at the Villalobos household, Santiago and Roisin got married, and the kids continued to work their way up the employment food chains. Catalina had a vampy stalker, and romance bloomed between Diego and Amber McArthur. Catalina also seems to have the hots for Nerissa Chan. Let's see what happens!
For the first time ever, Santiago was beginning to feel his age. It wasn't that he was any more tired and sore. In fact, the reason for his sudden musings on death were less sinister. He was happy. Roisin had married him, and he wanted to live a long and happy life with her. Unfortunately, he knew he wouldn't have a long life with her, but he could live out the end of his days happily with her. He wasn't happy about not having her longer, but he could be content with it.
The teens were still doing well, and they were happy to see their abuelo get a late-in-life bride. Roisin was sweet, and the teens liked her both for her own sake and because she made Santiago happy. They were out of high school now, and they worked hard at their jobs, trying to save up before heading off to college.
And now that Vinnie was back, they wanted to go right away. They were sad to leave Santiago, but the house was simply too crowded for three adults and three teens. They quickly applied for scholarships and packed their bags.
Catalina was first to go...
...followed by Dot...
...and finally Diego. The three went off to college together and left the adults in the house to themselves.
Despite the fact that Santiago would miss his grandchildren terribly, he had to admit that the new quiet in the house was really rather calming. It gave he and Roisin a chance to finally enjoy the married life.
And enjoy it they did. They splurged on a hot tub, which the doctor told them would help with the aches and pains that come with age. That wasn't the only thing the hot tub was good for, they soon discovered.
Making up for lost time, Santiago and Roisin enjoyed themselves pretty much everywhere now that the impressionable teens were gone. They had their heads in the clouds with love the great majority of the time.
Santiago and Roisin weren't the only ones who were getting some, though. Vinnie now had a bedroom to himself and a list of phone numbers from college that begged to be dialed. He couldn't find a job in the culinary career, so he entertained himself the best way he knew how: with a different date every night, and sometimes two in a day.
It seemed like no females could resist his charm, which was fine with Vinnie. He never really felt a connection with any of them, it was just nice to be close to a person for a while, however brief.
And the girls weren't exactly unappreciative either. Some mornings, Vinnie would wake up and walk out to get the paper only to find multiple love gifts on the front stoop. It wasn't a bad way to spend his time while he looked for a job.
He wasn't unhappy about the addition of the hot tub either.
Sooner or later, he figured he would have to branch out and start meeting adult women - he was burning through his list of college girls was nearing the end of it. Eh, he could do it next week.
Stay tuned to see what's happening in the Tanaka household!

Scoring:
No new points.
[[Author's Notes: This was a pretty slow round. Basically, all that happened was lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and LOTS of woohoo. Vinnie couldn't find a job in the culinary career for the whole round, so he killed time by woohoo'ing every single girl he had known in the past but hadn't yet woohoo'd. Santiago and Roisin never once dipped below the platinum thanks to all their dream dates. It was a nice relaxing way to spend a round and earn aspiration points.
This Entry's MP3:
H.W.C. by Liz Phair (from the eponymous album Liz Phair) ***EXPLICIT***
Blooper:
Jessica, I never knew.]]
