Antony Villalobos, Child Fortune Sim, LTW Grow Up Well

Julian Villalobos, Child Popularity Sim, LTW Grow Up Well

Last round at the Villalobos household, Marquez and Imelda both reached their second LTWs. The boys grew up well from infants to toddlers, and then from toddlers to children. Cinnamon hated the kids as toddlers and sadly passed away before they grew up into less annoying humans. With both of the kitties gone, Imelda decided it was time to adopt the next set of "breeders" her mother had given up for adoption: Roux and Brownie. Let's see how this little family and their nearly elderly kitties get along this round.

The first thing that happened in the Villalobos house that fall was for Imelda to make yet another career change. She didn't really feel that she needed to keep chasing her dreams, but now that she was a successful professional, lateral moves from career to career were both a way to keep her interested in her work AND to keep nice promotions coming into the household. This was important since they would have two boys to send to college in the not-too-distant future.

And go to college they undoubtedly would. Both boys were coming home with A+ report cards on a regular basis. School didn't seem very challenging for them as long as they kept up with their homework, and Imelda contemplated sending them to private school.

They didn't suffer socially either. The boys were constantly bringing home friends, though most of the time it was the same two girls: a similarly-aged set of female twins, Sophie and Susannah Beaumont.

Now that the boys were older, Imelda and Marquez found they had a bit more leisure time together, which was fine with them. The infant and toddler years had been demanding, and they enjoyed the ability to sneak a bit of private time when the boys were at school or playing with their after-school friends.

Even the kitties were becoming less work. As they aged into elders, they required a lot less play time and spend a great deal of their days napping in warm patches of sunshine. Life had become suddenly calm for Marquez and Imelda.

Imelda quickly reached her goal of becoming a media magnate and wasn't sure what she wanted to do next, but she could stick in this position for a while. It payed okay, and besides, it left her with fairly regular hours that allowed her time with her family.

The boys liked having her home in the evenings too... it meant they were always allowed to have over their friends.

[[Author's Notes: These guys were surprisingly "boring" this round. I like playing them, but they mostly just did normal young family things. Homework, working, cooking, studying, playing with the cats. The boys should age into teenagers next round, I think, which I'm very excited for since I think they're going to be mega handsome. No clue whether there will be chemistry with the Beaumont twins or not, but I love that the two pairs have become friends. Lots of bloopers for you this round!

Imelda looks like she's about to choke on her dinner at this topic of conversation. // No thank you, we don't want any. // I said no thank you. // NO, DAMMIT!!! // This just seems inappropriate. ]]

These two are so sweet! Imelda actually has a cameo in my next update (once I get around to finally writing it, heh). I love the boys and can't wait to see how they turn out as teens :)

I totally commented on this before... damn you Blogger /shakes fist!

Anyway, I loooove these boys, they're going to be so handsome when they grow up (how could the NOT be!!!). Imelda is in my next update... which I was going to work on but Blogger has been being stupid all day.

I even remember seeing a comment notification from you in my inbox. Weird.

I love them toooooo. I know they'll be good-looking teens/YAs/adults, but I almost hate to see them grow up because they're so adorable and round-faced now.

Woot, Imelda sighting! I can't wait! I still need to get Julio into my game SOMEHOW.
