Last round at the Villalobos household, Nala was a true knowledge sim. She did her homework in a timely fashion, studied new skills, and discussed her grades and scholarship opportunities with her father. She got into private school, and Connor got a womrat, both of which delighted him immensely. Let's see how they are this round.

Connor indulged in his habits, like gaming, but mostly, he remained so enamored with his new womrat that he couldn't be bothered to receive awards for his hobby interests.





Dot also indulged heartily in her hobbies, earning her a gold arts & crafts badge. Life as retired people was calm, but it didn't mean they were already dead.





There were plenty of other things to do besides work! Like feed the womrat, clean the house... and eat. A lot. Dot quickly learned the downsides to the latter hobby.





Meanwhile, Nala continued to try to update her skills. She frequently could be found after dark outside at the telescope. Logic was a rare skill, and she was determined to have as much of it as she could when she finally shipped off to university to join her older siblings.






Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on your perspective, it turned out that staring into space so much earned her a little too much attention from the sentient beings out there who wanted their privacy. That looks scary as heck, Nala...





Fortunately, being the knowledge-minded sim that she was, Nala viewed the whole "alien abduction" thing in a positive light. She'd learned more thanks to her abduction than she ever could have by studying books or staring through a telescope. Unfortunately, she added a few dozen more gray hairs to her parents' heads in the process.




She only hoped that she could turn her extraterrestrial experience into something that could earn her money for college. After all, what university WOULDN'T want to admit someone who had honest-to-goodness been abducted by an alien and could expound upon their habits from first-hand experience?





Knowing that she still needed more extra-curricular activities on her resume before she applied for school, Nala applied for a job in the Law career, hoping to impress her future professors with her prestigious teenage career.





Dot took notice of her daughter's enterprising habits and decided to pop out of retirement for a while herself. When a position in the adventurer career came available, Dot snatched it up. She'd always wanted to be an adventurer. Though she was a retired individual, it would still be fun to experience the job and, at the same time, bring a few extra dollars into the house as income.







Shortly thereafter, Nala decided it was finally time for her to head to college. She got her beloved Alien Reparations Grant along with a slew of other scholarships. It would definitely ease her parents' minds not to have to pay for her full tuition at Sim State.





Bye, Nala. See you at uni! She would impress the college campus if it was the last thing she did.



[[Author's Notes: So this was the last round of children in the Villalobos household. Taye will not be rejoining this household because he is moving in to take over his Uncle Vinnie's house, so the future of this lot is in question. No clue yet who will end up inheriting. Nala is my first teen to ever be abducted by aliens, thereby being my first teen to ever win the alien reparation grant. Yay, Nala! I have two bloopers for you; otherwise the round was fairly innocuous.
