The Villaloboses (C) - Round 13

Catalina Villalobos, Vampire Fortune Sim, 2nd LTW Become World Class Ballet Dancer

~*~*~*~*~

Last time at the Villalobos house, Nerissa aged well into an elder. Catalina lived pretty much the way she always had, only she became a serious night person. She kept her job and managed not to get burned to death running to her carpool in the early afternoon. Cat and Nerissa also enjoyed continuing to get it on in their adult years. Yay for elder love! Let's see how they're doing this round.

First on the agenda was to suck down a few glasses of the Elixir of Life. If Catalina was going to live forever, she may as well live forever as a young person instead of dealing with the aches and pains of middle age her whole eternal life.

She felt so good that she lured her love into bed to remind her of their earlier days together, back when they were both still young and spry.

Of course, one thing she didn't think of with her new youth was the fact that it wasn't just the outside that got younger...it was all the inner workings too. Catalina could hardly believe it when Nerissa told her she was experiencing the tell-tale signs of pregnancy.

Sure enough, though, Catalina's belly popped into a round little bulge, and Cat took off work to give herself time to rest and spend time with her baby mama before the baby actually came.

With the approach of a new child on the way, Nerissa felt herself getting sad and nostalgic for their older child, Guillermo. Even though he was now a werewolf, Nerissa still loved him more than the world. And besides, Nerissa's whole family was apparently going creature-feature these days, so what difference was it whether someone was a werewolf or a vampire? They still loved her, and she still loved them, and they would always be family.

Pregnancy didn't stop Catalina from wanting to be physically close with Nerissa, the same as her older physique didn't bother Catalina in the least. They both still thought the other as beautiful as they day they'd met.

As the days went by, Catalina grew larger and larger. Both women were truly delighted that they would have one more child together...especially since the unspoken understanding was that someday Nerissa wouldn't be around anymore while Catalina lived on.

It wasn't long before it came time for Catalina to give birth, and as she clutched her stomach, she gained a whole new respect for the pain her wife had gone through all those years ago giving birth to their son.

In a few hours, the women had a brand new baby - a girl with both Mommies' black hair and Catalina's brown eyes and skintone.

Mommy Nerissa named her Marianela and snuggled her delightedly. She was perfect.

She remained perfect in her mothers' eyes, but she most definitely didn't remain tiny. Soon it was time for the first baby birthday they'd had in many years.

Marianela grew up into a lovely little toddler with a not-too-bad personality either.

One thing Cat and Nerissa could agree upon: she most certainly didn't get her neat-freak habits from Catalina, and she certainly didn't get her outgoing nature from Nerissa. It made them smile to see both of their personalities reflected.

And who couldn't be charmed by the little girl? She brought new life and new happiness into a house that hadn't seen children for years.

[[Author's Notes: It was totally planned to let these two have another baby. I think it's because I feel so guilty letting Nerissa die while Catalina gets to live forever. I wanted to throw them one last bone so I could alleviate some of my terrible feelings about splitting up a couple that is very much in love. I'm hoping that the mixture of the two women's features will look better on a female child than it did on Guillermo, who looks a little bit wonky. I'm betting Marianela will be a beauty. She certainly won't win any charm competitions with that measly one nice point, ouch! No bloopers, just on to the next house! ]]

The Villaloboses (C) - Round 12

Starring:

Nerissa Villalobos, Adult Knowledge Sim, 2nd LTW Become Mad Scientist

Catalina Villalobos, Vampire Fortune Sim, 2nd LTW Become World Class Ballet Dancer

~*~*~*~*~

Last round in the Villalobos household, the primary event was Catalina becoming a vampire thanks to her childhood stalker, Vasyl Hogan. Nerissa really wanted Catalina either to be cured or to become a vampire herself, but sadly, this isn't in the plan. Let's see how they get on this round.

Cat, fortune sim that she was, refused to give up her job. She couldn't give up the lucrative source of money in being a famous movie star. Besides, there were plenty of roles for vampires, and it wasn't that hard to convince stupid Simmywood directors that she was simply VERY good at this type of role through hard work. So every afternoon, she raced to the helicopter and came home in under the cloak of safe darkness.

Her personality didn't change much, though she definitely spent more time at the piano than she ever would have while a human. Something about classical music appealed to her more than she could have ever imagined now; plus, it chased the loneliness away when Catalina wasn't around to do it for her.

She still longed to enjoy the pleasures she did as a human being, and these cravings she indulged under cover of night. She did things that she knew were totally untraditional to the stereotype of vampires like herself, but they gave her pleasure, so she indulged anyway.

She had never been one to be particularly concerned with rules when she was alive, so flouting them in eternal death didn't really seem like such a chore for her.

[[Gratuitious HOLY MOTHER OF HOT VAMPS shot!]]

She and Nerissa were still in love, too. Once Nerissa was gone, Catalina knew she would be heartsick, but she also knew, somehow, that she would continue on with a stony stoicism. It didn't mean she wouldn't appreciate her beautiful wife as long as she could, though, without concern as to who might object.

Vasyl became a sometime-lover. He wasn't the most gorgeous of men, and Cat wasn't exactly into men to begin with, but he was her sire and had a power over her that she could never deny.

It wasn't always about Catalina, though. In truth, she thought her heart would break the day she cheered Nerissa into her elderhood.

Catalina would always find her first and truest love beautiful, no matter how many wrinkles she acquired, but she knew that her new status would mean parting with Nerissa someday. It was a severe price to pay for immortality.

In an attempt to mollify her guilt for the inevitable fact that she would outlive Nerissa by centuries, Catalina spoiled her. "Do whatever you desire, my truest love," was the repeated sugar whispered into Nerissa's ear as they slept together.

Nerissa, tired from a life of working hard, quit her job and decided that spending her remaining days with Catalina was the most important thing she could do. Catalina couldn't have agreed more.

[[Author's Notes: Pretty short and sweet here. I am feeling a little guilty about letting Nerissa die while Catalina lives on, so I may allow them to have one more baby together before Nerissa dies. It will help alleviate my guilt, m'kay? Besides, I swear they can make a better-looking baby than Guillermo, lol. Not sure what else to say here other than Catalina is so pretty that I'm really glad I decided to make her immortal. Only a few bloopers for you!

Bloopers:
Count Vasyl is a service sim? Well, either he works in a drive-through, or this is an ironic label, like, "He is a service sim because he serviced me." // He asked if he could bring a friend, not a family reunion! Count Vasyl, I never knew! ]]

The Villaloboses (C) - Round 11

Starring:

Catalina Villalobos, Adult Fortune Sim, 2nd LTW Become World Class Ballet Dancer

Nerissa Villalobos, Adult Knowledge Sim, 2nd LTW Become Mad Scientist

~*~*~*~

Last round at the Villalobos household, Nerissa and Catalina adjusted to the idea that Guillermo wasn't returning home after university and that they had the rest of their lives to enjoy one another. Nerissa and Catalina both enjoyed the new pottery wheel they invested in, though Nerissa was first to earn a silver pottery badge. The two also indulged in buying a new pet: Diana, a cockatoo who entertained them both greatly. Catalina also got stalked a lot by her former childhood stalker, the Grand Vampire. The house was broken into, but fortunately, nothing was stolen. Let's see how they do this round.

Nerissa continued with her love of pottery. She found she was really getting good at molding things out of clay...even when it was so cold outside that her fingers felt numb after a little while.

Catalina preferred more warm indoor entertainments, like playing with Diana. She couldn't get over how talkative the bird was getting. Granted, both she and Nerissa chatted with the bird all the time, but their avian companion's ability for learning startled them both.

Catalina did indulge in a bit of pottery herself, but after being interrupted with her clay-laden hands multiple times by her vampire stalker, she decided to do something about it.

She had repeatedly invited the vamp over to talk with him about why he wouldn't leave her alone, but each time, she was rejected. Finally, she decided to fake him out a bit. She called and asked him on a "date," which of course was a complete farce.

Nevertheless, she was pleasantly shocked that he agreed! Catalina figured she finally knew what he actually wanted. Men, they were all alike. But the joke was on Vasyl Hogan...he wasn't her type, by a long shot.

Something strange seemed to happen when they began to talk, though. He had definite hypno-eyes, and she found herself liking him better than she had, forgiving him the years of annoying stalking.

She wasn't even fully aware of what he was doing as he swept her up into an embrace. She was still contemplating how he wasn't really THAT bad...

As he let her down, she felt as though she needed to catch her breath. "What the hell did you just do to me, Vasyl?" she asked, puffing. She wasn't mad with her new friend, she just couldn't figure out what was going on.

Of course, it became clear a few minutes later as Catalina felt a massive change takeover her body. She felt pain, then power, then hunger. She realized as she looked down at her pale hands that he had turned her into one of his kind.

And he didn't even stay around to help explain. "Goodnight, my pretty," he said, pulling her into an embrace and kissing her before disappearing into the night.

Catalina felt such a mixture of emotions and feelings... powerful, sad, bewildered, worried, curious... The first thing she knew was that she had to break it to Nerissa, and she was completely unsure how her long-time wife would take it.

After a long amount of talk and a record-speed construction of a basement (and lightless) apartment, the two worked things out. It wasn't the ideal situation, and Nerissa had many conflicting emotions about the whole thing, but the bottom line was that they still loved one another, and they would deal with this.

Now that Catalina would spend most of her time sleeping during the day, Nerissa spent it thinking over and over her wife's situation. She barely even noticed when she earned her gold pottery badge. She was too busy contemplating the implications of being married to a vampire.

Catalina, too, began to wonder what this would mean for her. Eternal life and apparent friendship with all the wolves in the neighborhood, but what about Nerissa?

She looked up at the stars. Did she want to live forever if it wasn't with Nerissa? Did she want to live perpetually in darkness for the rest of her days?

She didn't know, but as she painted a portrait of her beautiful Nerissa to keep with her always (no matter what happened), she hoped some understanding and clarity would come to her soon.

[[Author's Notes: Ah, I feel kind of guilty for doing this out of my own selfish reasons, but oh well. Catalina is gorgeous, and I want her to sire beautiful babies. Plus, I needed a vamp in my hood, and I don't like anyone well enough to have them live forever besides Catalina. Sorry, pumpkin. It's kind of sad because Nerissa keeps rolling up two wants all the time: to become a vampire or that Catalina is cured of vampirism. It's like...I don't care if we're both vampires together or humans together, as long as I don't have to be away from her. :( Sigh. Now I have guilt. Over pixellated people. D'oh. I built a sorta neat basement apartment for Catalina, which makes me happy. So far, she hasn't burned up on her way to work, so we're hoping to continue that trend. Only one blooper for you.

Blooper:
Yeah, because just being a vampire is cool, but those warlocks suck. ]]
